A non-profit organization [501C3], The Starving Artist theatre was founded six years ago, designed to encourage and support artists; becoming the catalysis for them to take the leap into professional theatre. With a passion for the undiscovered, our goal is to impact the Washington DC metro area with local talent!  The theatre's events offer superior and inventive forms of the liberal arts. This is be done by exposing quality artists to hungry audiences tired of the average productions.  The Starving Artist provides a place for the artist to be heard, seen, and believed in... giving them the confidence to pursue their dream and develop it into a career!
